The Melas are growing year by year and have become a common place, its
a great day out in Brick Lane, you probably arrived to go to a gallery
then end up having a curry and final finish by dancing in the Mela.
You'll
be spoilt for choice when you come to eat in Brick Lane there is such
a variety of Indian food. Each restaurant has its own style, taste and
atmosphere, Ask anyone in London where is a good place to have a curry
and you'll be sure to be directed to Brick Lane, the internet has advanced
so much people order food from Brick Lane online. The restaurants in Brick
Lane are an Art in itself, they break all the stereotypes of being Indian,
the lighting, sounds and smells is sure to give you a good time.
With its large population of Bangladeshis came all of the colourful festivals
like Baishaki Mela and Curry Festivals
In the future we will have online discussions by events organizers and
the people to improve the Mela, we also hope to have web cams so the whole
event can be seen live on the internet.
To
add to the richness of the Brick Lane we have all the creative artists
who work and live there from the likes of Tracy Emenin and Gilbert and
George.
